Been working at Deloitte UAE for a couple years now and honestly its exhausting and tiring as hell. The expectations are extremely high but the place is majorly understaffed so managers and partners just keep pushing and pushing. I get that the work needs to get done but regularly staying till 2 or 3 in the morning is not okay. A lot of us have brought this up with HR and management multiple times and nothing ever changes. They will tell you that you can log off at the end of the day and that work life balance matters but its just empty words. On top of all that we are extremely underpaid for the amount of hours and pressure that get dumped on us.
Good: The Deloitte name still carries weight and looks solid on a CV You get exposure to big clients and complex work that can teach you a lot if you stick around Networking opportunities exist if you manage to build relationships Remote work
Bad: Extremely high expectations with major understaffing Managers and partners keep pushing Regularly working till 2 or 3 in the morning is treated as normal
