I have been applying to Marriott for years across the GCC. Every application comes back with an automated rejection within hours or a couple of days. Despite being well qualified for certain roles, I have never had a survey, a first-round interview, or any human contact at all — only automatic emails. It gives the strong impression that many roles are posted for compliance reasons while the real hiring happens through internal networks or the position is already filled.
